Registration is Open for Parent University
The NM Office of Special Education is hosting Parent University for Families of Children with Disabilities. The two-day event will occur on Nov. 13-14, and will include lots of important information for families, including support for navigating the special education system, establishing a support network among families, schools and community organizations, and identifying and implementing strategies for academic and behavioral success.

As applications increase and the demand for professional guardianship services grows, additional funding is critical to ensuring that New Mexicans with disabilities who need decision-making assistance have access to the supports and services they need.
